It’s a close look at the cervix using a magnifying lens. It’s usually recommended after an abnormal Pap smear or HPV test, to see precisely what caused it. I hold a Diploma in Colposcopy and Lower Genital Tract Pathology from UABC (2024).
It depends on your age, your history and your stage of life. As a general reference, an annual gynecological check-up is a good starting point; we’ll settle on the right interval for you during your visit.
